Dr. Judith Richter
Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Richter is founder and chief executive officer of Medinol.

Dr. Richter’s versatile CV includes both business and academic expertise. She served on the board of several Israeli companies including Israel's leading telecommunications company, and its international subsidiaries.

Dr. Richter’s extensive experience in the medical sector covers various positions, including chief executive officer of MEDCON – a publicly traded company specializing in telemedical and telecardiological systems – and various positions with TEVA Pharmaceutical Industries.

Dr. Richter’s academic experience includes over 6 years as a faculty member of the Graduate School of Business Administration at Tel Aviv University, where she continues to lecture on a part-time basis. Today she is a board member of the management committee of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She is the author of the book "Connected Vessels", and has published numerous articles in academic journals.

Dr. Richter is a graduate of Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and received her Ph.D. from Boston University.



Dr. Kobi Richter
Chairman and Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Jacob (Kobi) Richter is founder, chairman and chief technology officer of Medinol. He is responsible for all aspects of the company's research, development, manufacturing, quality and manufacturing regulatory compliance.

Prior to Medinol, Dr. Richter co-founded Orbotech, a leading microelectronic product company listed on NASDAQ. He served as the company's head of product development and later as director of marketing and product development. Currently Dr. Richter is a member of Orbotech's board of directors.

Dr. Richter has worked as a post-doctoral and research fellow at the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory and brain research department of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and served as head of the research and development department for the Israeli Air Force.

Dr. Richter has a Ph.D. inf physiology and pharmacology from Tel Aviv University.



Ms. Tamara Sugar
Senior Vice President of Finance, Administration and Marketing
With 15 years experience at Medinol, Tamara Sugar leads Medinol’s local and global business operations. She operates as the company’s CFO and in effect is responsible for all finance, marketing and general administration activities.

Ms. Sugar was a regional sales manager at Medispec Ltd., a company specializing in medical equipment the urology field. In addition, she was a teaching assistant at the Recanati School of Business, Tel Aviv University.

Ms. Sugar holds an MBA from Tel Aviv University.



Dr. Dani Levy
Vice President Quality Systems
Dr. Levy’s experience with Medinol stretches over 6 years. He is responsible for all aspects of QA, including implementation of current Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) according to FDA QS Regulation and ISO 13485, SOP development and review, product & sterilization QA etc., in addition to regulatory aspects including inspections by FDA & MDC.

Dr. Levy served as a QA manager for Teva Pharmaceutical industries, and as QC manager for Perio Products (a subsidiary of Israel Chemicals). He also worked for International Diagnostic Laboratories for several years as the Head of Organic Chemistry & Biochemistry Group.

Dr. Levy graduated first in his class with honors -BSc in Chemistry from the University of London, Kings College; PhD in Organic Chemistry, University of London, Westfield College; Post Doctoral studies in Chemical Physics at the Weizmann Institute of Science. He also published numerous articles and other professional publications.



Dr. Oleg Weizman
Vice President of Innovative Technologies
Dr. Oleg Weizman has been with Medinol since 1994, and is currently the Vice President of Innovative Technologies, responsible for the concept development, testing and outlining of new technologies. Previously, Dr. Weizman was the R&D Manager of Medinol.
Dr. Weizman has over 20 years of experience in the medical device industry, with R&D and engineering activities in various fields, including cardiovascular and urology.

Dr. Weizman also worked for Tel-Aviv University, where he participated in the special project of ionosphere research shared with Tel-Aviv University and US Army CECOM.

Dr. Weizman holds a Ph.D. in Physics and Mathematics from the Institute of Terrestrial Magnetism, Ionosphere and Radio Wave Propagation of Academy of Science of USSR (IZMIRAN). He published numerous articles, including Radio Science and Advance Space Research.



Dr. Eran Kaplan
Vice President R&D
Dr. Kaplan has been with Medinol since 2007. His responsibilities include all aspects of R&D: design control, development of new products, new processes and process validations, project management and new product implementation.

Previously he was the general manager of Bioview Inc. where he led the development advanced diagnostic systems, which involved ultra high resolution optical imaging and image analysis for the early detection of cancer relapse. In 2004 Dr. Kaplan was nominated general manager of Bioview Inc., with overall responsibility for its operations.

Dr. Kaplan was a Project Manager in Applied Materials Israel, and served as a Systems Engineer and Physics Group Leader at Neuromedical Systems Israel.
Through his development work in various positions, Dr. Kaplan has co-invented two technology-related patents.

He earned his Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Physics from the Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel and his B.Sc. in Physics, cum laude, from The Tel Aviv University. His Ph.D. thesis won the H. Landau award for the most outstanding thesis in 1994.



Mr. Alexander Noy

Ali brings with him close to 15 years of experience in the medical device industry and over 15 years of experience in the Farming Technology
Industry. He has been working in Medinol since 1996 in various supply chain administrative positions- which include being the production
manager, Integration project manager and Director of Engineering.

As a member of the Senior Management team at Medinol, Ali is responsible for the company’s complete operational activities, including: IT,
Logistics, Engineering, Production & Manufacturing, and plant management.

He manages over 150 people and is constantly developing innovative production solutions.



Ms. Michal Hershkovitz
VP Clinical & Regulatory Affairs
Michal has a B.Sc, Chem.Eng., M.Sc (RA) and MBA.
She has worked for Teva Pharmaceuticals from 1986 to 2008 where she was responsible for leading teams in global drug development through all phases with specific focus on regulatory, medical assessment and writing aspects and knowledge management.

She initiated a regulatory information and intelligence center and led submissions of two NDAs and many INDs lately in an eCTD format to the FDA and EMEA.

Curently she holds responsibility for clinical and regulatory activities of Medinol Ltd. and its daughter companies.
