Medinol’s use of batch processes is facilitated by the 2-dimensional nature of our strut-formation phase. We are able to apply both our strut-formation technologies (i.e. photo etching or water-jet laser cutting) to a flat panel, thus creating a sheet containing numerous lattices that will later become stents.
Adopted from the integrated circuits industry, this aspect of our manufacturing technology promotes the high level of accuracy and consistency that is maintained throughout the manufacturing process.
