While the technological superiority of Medinol's unique approach have been discussed in previous parts of this site, it is the purpose of this section to discuss the unique economical and output aspects of our manufacturing process and highlight their baring on the level of scrutiny characterizing our quality control.
The amount of resources invested in each individual stent increases as it advances through the manufacturing process. Naturally, the economical significance of rejecting a stent also increases which each phase of the manufacturing process. Therefore, the fact that our manufacturing process allows us to conduct a through inspection of the stent at a very early stage allows us to adhere to uncompromising quality standards without challenging our profitability.
Additionally, the fact that the first step of our manufacturing uses a batch-process approach further contributes to the efficiency of this phase.
The quality standards applied at this QC stage also greatly increases the quality and consistency of the products reaching the next QC stage, allowing us to maintain the highest standards at this phase as well.
It is the consistent quality in combination with the efficiency of our process that are responsible for the manufacturing flexibility characterizing Medinol. This flexibility has allowed us to successfully cope with short-term throughput peaks and rapidly adjust to long term increases in demand.
