Stent Flexibility
Nirflex's fine-strut design allows for maximal longitudinal flexibility, enabling easier stent placement, even in tortuous vessels. The fine struts also allow for a smaller crossing profile, suitable for constricted vessels, without compromising arterial plaque. Additionally, our tapered catheter tip ensures minimal vessel damage during deployment.
Stent Stability
Medinol's unique closed-cell design provides class leading stability and scaffolding. The small cells and sub-cells unique to the NIRflex® geometry also reduce potential vessel-wall prolapse
Stent Conformability
The unique NIRflex® design – including an optimal proportion of thinner to thicker struts ratio – achieves an unprecedented level of conformability to the vessels’ anatomy while maintaining perfect vessel-wall support. This is particularly important due to the pronounced arterial bending associated with the heart’s systolic cycle.
