Features and Benefits
Stent Flexibility
Presillion’s ultra thin strut design is facilitated by the unique properties of its raw material – cobalt chromium. The fine-strut design allows for maximal longitudinal flexibility, enabling easier stent placement, even in tortuous vessels. The fine struts also allow for a smaller crossing profile, suitable for constricted vessels, without compromising arterial plaque. Additionally, our tapered catheter tip and unique hydrophilic coating ensure minimal vessel damage during deployment.
Stent Stability
Medinol's unique closed-cell design provides class leading stability and scaffolding. The small cells and sub-cells unique to the NIRflex® geometry also reduce potential vessel-wall prolapse.
Stent Conformability
Presillion’s 35/73 microns, ultra-fine struts, combined with its NIRflex®-based design achieves an unprecedented level of conformability to the vessels’ anatomy while maintaining perfect vessel-wall support. This is particularly important due to the pronounced arterial bending associated with the heart’s systolic cycle.
